The Third Gadabout

Winter is a tough season for travellers. It’s cold, you can’t sleep in a car, tent or simply outdoors. You can’t relax in the sun, do workout in fresh air and definitely you can’t swim in the lake or sea. To add to this, it’s rainy for the most part of cold season and with such weather the thought of spending time outside the flat is simply disdaining. At some point Nick was so desperate to get away from cold and rainy Germany that he started searching for cheap flights to Israel, Mallorca or, well, anywhere. Niki had a better idea, though.

Portuguese Acroyoga and a 3000km jump

We adapted in good old Portugal pretty fast, starting from having our favourite laundry place, having regular trips to a local swimming pool and ending on knowing of a cafe with the best pastel de nata. But the most wonderful things about these days were making new friends and waking to the sounds of ocean. Precisely in that order. Saying goodbye was hard, but we wanted to see more of Portugal, as well as Spain. That’s how we made it to Sevilla, and then… Well, see for yourself. :)

Trip through forests and droughts

Many things have happened since we’ve arrived in Montpellier. Not only we took part in an awesome photo-shoot with our dear friend Alessandro, but also we gained new travel companions and through rain, fog and mountains we made it to Portugal, which gave us more than we could have ever expected.
